DSTV 3 tv setup

Hi to all the Dstv gurus.

I am going nuts slowly.

I have the following install.

Dish with twin lnb. Both of the lines from the lnb are split (1 to 2). One of each lines are connected to the pace 2 tuner pvr. The other 2 are connected to a 2 to 4 multiplexer which is connected to my 4 tuner pace pvr. The 4 tuner is connected to my lcd by hdmi. The 2 tuner is connected to the bedroom tv by rf cable. There is a tv - eye on the bedroom tv. All worked until I cut the rf and added another 1 to 2 splitter to add a kitchen tv. While the line to the bedroom is connected all works but once I connect the kitchen tv the tv - eye dies. Do I need a dc block on the kitchen tv?

I would really appreciate any help with this.

You need to get an active splitter otherwise there won't be enough power going to the eye when you connect the kitchen TV.

Thanks. You are a genius! Scratched out a setback amp I had that supports pass thru and voila! Everything works!
