This has been mentioned before - but in the last month or so - they decided to make the problem even worse ?!?

Now even on the PVR you need to mute those introductory messages or u might blow the speakers they so loud - and the same with adds during normal TV

Its ridiculous how soft the stuff you actually want to hear is nowadays :(

I find that the volume of the introductions of the DSTV-On-Demand programs is about double that of the actual show. This really irritates me, nothing I can do about it though :/

At least your volume doesn't mute itself when you visit certain channels.

To lazy to call to find out what the problem is :P

There was at least one other thread about this... one of those corporate things we can either take or leave.............piratebaywhatwho?

or you could pay a lot of cash and put an inline compressor/limiter on it... but thats kinda overkill.

I set my TV to "auto-volume adjust" and it helps a bit... this has been a problem with DSTV for a number of years now.

Set volume to fixed in decoder settings and redirect your remote control volume commands to whichever device is producing your audio.
