it seems endless. . .
biometric login fails probably 80 - 90% on login attempts, making one revert to entering username and password - thus rendering biometric login as a futile.
then constant payment problems (there is no way on earth multichoice will be given debit order access to my banking).

so there are endless updates, one after the other, all claiming "bug fixes".
if one takes a look at reviews on google play, one can see endless complaints around the same two issues - going back a year, despite this, dstv has yet to fix these things.

one would assume ease of payment would be a priority for any company - evidently not for dstv.

who is the developer of this entirely shart app ?

That app sucks donkey-balls.

When I had dstv (login details from friend) it was always way nicer experience to use the unofficial addon via Kodi ... How they by now could not design their own is beyond me. After the new design of their app a few years ago, it was unusable  Fncking amateurs !!

I think its in house.

It's definitely the worst streaming app.... and painful that its so expensive as well.

Nothing hurts quite like not being able to stream the one game you signed up just to watch.

Let's see what the French do with it. I just want some closed captions/subtitles on their movie channels at least.

Yep. Last we knew.

Back then, some peeps at MC wanted to fire the lot and get professional recovery help, others made them keep them as they were a minority type group. Nearly destroyed the Explora decoder at the time but they wriggled through it.

French have got their hands full....

Glad I'm not the only one that struggles with this POS.
Usually it's the streaming quality that degrades over time, forcing you to 'restart' the stream over and over.
And then today it hangs at the 'who's watching' stage, with no options offered.
Hope the developers are forced to use their own SW in hell!

Wasn't it in-house from India? Remember somebody ranting about it.

So not imported Indians like Medi-Clinic does then.

I think the OP was referring to the MyDSTV app given his references to payment problems and biometric login neither of which exist in the DSTV Stream Android app (which has its own range of other issues and lack of functionality relative to the iOS and Samsung/Tizen versions of the app).
