Are any of the dstv audio channels broadcast in stereo? I find that channel 821 (LM Radio) has better audio than other channels

Better audio? In what way?
I actually browsed through a few audio channels today, e.g. Algoa FM, Jacaranda FM, KFM, they all sounded pretty good and definitely in stereo.

As I mentioned LM radio has better audio quality. The channels you listened to are all radio stations and like LM radio have better quality and in stereo.

Compare these channels to a non radio station such as 757 and you will notice the audio is not as good ie sounds flat.

Most probably the 'el cheapo' channels have a lower bitrate / higher compression ratio which dulls the audio experience to that of a Medium Wave analogue radio broadcast, when compared to more 'mainstream' radio stations that more likely pay more for a higher bitrate / lossless compression ratio which provides a 'High Fidelity' soundstage comparable to a FM analogue broadcast...

Absolutely! Many DStv audio channels are broadcast in stereo. Channels like Algoa FM, Jacaranda FM, and KFM provide clear and high-quality stereo audio. It might be worth exploring more channels to find the audio experience that suits your preference.
Only the radio stations have good quality and stereo - all the other music channels have low audio quality. I have asked dstv what their audio quality is on the non radio stations- hopefully they provide an answer
