DSTV av cable booster?

Hi guys. We have a standard dstv pvr. my room is about 25 meters from the main tv and the pvr. i bought a 30m av cable to link my tv to the pvr, but i get ugly wavy lines on my second tv. Is there a way to boost the siganl on the av cables?

My record is 20m with AV cables, and that was crystal clear.
Are you sure that the AV cable is not broken?

Other possible problems could be interference being picked up. Your AV cable could be too close to Electrical cable. You could also try better AV cable with better shielding and inner conductor.You do get AV boosters but I would try that as my last option .

Probably damaged cable. I have a cable installed 35+ meters and its crystal clear. I'm sure you can go 100m or more, so definitely a damaged cable

I've done 80m a few years back when I was still doing installations. Used RG59 cable, as used for CCTV cameras. Had some interference problems as well. Normally caused by earthing issues or electrical fields caused by transformers etc.
