Do u think we'll ever have a situation where one chooses certain channels from Multichoice in the future?

I'm about to get myself a DSTV, and if I had a choice, I would only choose sports channels.

In the near future? No

Thats the problem

Multichoice has NO CHOICE (wonder if you can report them to the ASA for having a misleading name)

Same here, only sport for me

You guys live alone don't you?:D

True that!
If I was married, I'm sure my wife wouldn't let me watch sports the way I do now.
So to answer ur question, I stay alone, and don't intend getting married soon. I'm still enjoying my freedom. Not yet time to go to prison :D

A toast to freedom! Couldn't agree with you more. :D

there is only about 12-16 decent channels on dstv aint no way they will let you choose
You pay R439.00 per month for those 12-16 decent channels. I don't even watch that many channels, but stills pays. If you use it for watching movies, you might as well diconnect as you could rent almost a new movie a day for that price and watch SABC for the news. If you like watching sports, you haven't got much of a choice but to get the full Service.:(

The problem is, Multichoice needs to cover their overheads to cater for everyone and the Directors needs to drive around in Million $ Sports cars. So stop complaining and get a PVR which takes your monthly subscription even more up. Just Remember, they bring out new faster Sport Cars everyday and those guys needs to stay updated.:D

I heard that SABC will have a dedicated sports channel by next year November ?

So you will be able to watch endless South African PSL games throughout the day. Can't wait:D

I think they are gearing up for the world cup. But in the meantime I think they'll air preview shows like stadium progress, team profiles and all the hype that goes with the world cup.

LOL about PSL games 'cause they don't have the rights anymore. They only show what SS does not want to show
