DSTV Compact sufficient for soccer lover?

DSTV Compact allows following sport channels , SS3 , SS4 and ESPN.
Would those channels show soccer matches from EPL and Absa PL live?
So would those channels show EPL of teams like Man Utd and Chelsea etc..
I've seen that the cost is R220/month , is that true?(I do know about hardware and installation fees)

SS3 is the main soccer channel, so the biggest game of the day/night usually plays on there, while the "lesser" games are aired on SS4, SS5,SS6 and SS7.
Obviously, when Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool etc all play at the same time, it's just the luck of the draw as to which is on SS3.

In short, you're probably okay - but not guaranteed.

I have no idea about ABSA PL.

All correct except SS4 is only local soccer, so basically SS3 will be the main EPL/FA cup matches, SS4 the main PSL/other tournys

Right, SS 3 is normally international, EPL or UEFA CL, while SS 4 is PSL.

it will give you a fair amount of soccer. but as has been stated you will miss out on some matches invloving the big teams from time to time. you will also miss out on la liga and serie a if i am not mistaken.
