This month I got cut-off from DSTV.
To cut a long story short (this took me two hours on the phone and two hours at their client care centre in JHB to figure out)...
It looks like they lost my DSTV login account - maybe they've lost others too. The simple solution is to re-register and relink your details using your ID-, or SIM- or account number. (On the face of it, it looked like a password issue, but resetting the password never worked either).
Their credit card run failed at the end of March / early April. (There is an internal email notifying support staff of the issue, but it looks like no-one took the time to read it) - hence me being cut off. The solution is to log into your DSTV.com account and make a once off payment for last months amount.
I hope this post saves a few people some time and frustration.
