DSTV decoder box contents

Does anyone know if the DSTV Single View HD decoder comes with an LNB cable included? If not, where can one buy these cables loose? How much do they cost?

The LNB cable is usually installed by the dish installer.
That being said, if you need a short one you should be able to get it just about anywhere for a few bucks.

I moved into a new place where there is a communal dish, and each unit has a single LNB feed in the living room...so the LNB plug is there in the wall but no cable unfortunately...so I am hoping the decoder comes with one.

It doesn't come in the box. You will only get the HDMI cable.

those connectors are dirt cheap , and so are cables nothing major to buy.
