DSTV decoder freezing

My DSTV decoder freezes on certain channels,,,,what could be the cause?

Mine was also freezing this morning, then it started to scan and got stuck there. Phoned them and they told me I must take it in for testing and get a installer to check my LMB's.
Decided to cancel. DSTV free, jippeeee

OP, you need to post more information. Lots of people have had this issue and can help but you need to take some time to post enough information

Some decoders are prone to heat issues. If your decoder is situated at the back of a tv unit try moving it closer to the front to allow more air flow around it

Doesn't sound like heat issues. His decoder is freezing......... Duh dh dish!

I have this problem which started the last few days.I have two of the HD pvr 2p decoder.It is well ventilated.
while frozen I switch to the second decoder and the same problem.
