DSTV decoder issue

My DSTv decoder just suddenly started flashing 3 backwards facing L's: _| _| _|

It's the normal DSD 990 decoder. I get a feeling the device is screwed.
Any ideas?

If you close to a MC agency, take it in and let them check it out. Perhaps just a reset thats required or it may be terminal.

I recently saw a couple of ads on gumtree where guys were selling 2nd hand 990's for as little as R 100.
