Yeah I hear you mate, but even people who watch SABC say they are not bothered by streaming services....

The thing is at the end of the day. It's far more convenient to have DSTv for SPORT.

Must agree with that, if you are a big sports fan, DSTV prices are actually very well priced compared to streaming from other countries which include sports.
Lucky I am just a fan of the football and so I am able to get the League, FA cup and European and Europa league and other leagues like Scottish, Germany and Spain leagues on my streaming platforms but it is across a couple of streaming services.
I watch across Peacock, Hulu and Paramount +

ive no issues with dstv works quite fine ,never had a glitch yet ,no issues as well with showmax thats incorporated.

The argument is not centered on the performance of DSTV but on the value of the service against what you are paying for......in other words the price is not worth the package.
That's ancient history, and it's now going up again - R120 p/m for PVR usage etc. from AprilRight, and then you have to pay another R105 each month to access it
