Dstv decoder question?

Hi guys

I want to get the dstv HD decoder for approx R500 i think.(Not the xplorer)
Two questions:

1) Does this decoder have the recording feature?
2) If i have a tv in the bedroom will it also play the HD signal?(tv in bedroom is connected to splitter on RF Out of decoder)

It's R399 at Kalahari last I checked, used with one of the vouchers you can get it for R299.

1) No, view only
2) No HD in bedroom, you'll need some sort of HDMI cabling for that
