I got a decoter from a friend and a letter to say that its going on my name. I will like to know do I have to go to a multichoice shop with the letter to get it acdevated on my name or can I do it online with multichoice ?

Your best bet would be to go to MultiChoice in Randburg.

if you phone multichoice, they can conference in ur friend who can confirm that he is giving / selling you the decoder

I think you can go to any Multichoice agency. I actually send them the documents via email and they transferred the decoder. Let me know if you need the form.

So there is a forum I can full in and mail to them, how long did it take to transfer the decoder to your name ?

Yes there is a form you can full in.

I can't remember but I think it took at least two days. I send them a couple of emails to help speed up the process.
