I got my hands (legally) on a newish second hand DSTV decoder to replace my ancient one. Is installing it as easy as putting in my smartcard or is it more complicated than that?

NoChoice mated the smartcard to the DSTV decoders earlier this year.

Better to phone them :p

You'll need a letter from the seller with all the information about the decoder verifying the sale.
