A friend had DSTV upgrades phone him about upgrading this decoder.
Couple weeks later, the decoder packed up.
This happened to him twice.
I started getting spam calls from DSTV (these were blocked by TrueCaller). Within the last week or two, my decoder started randomly freezing and rebooting.
(Mine is one of those cheapies and around 8 years old).
Just co-incidence, or do they remotely "upgrade" the firmware to mess it up, Apple style?
