DSTV drift a signal problem

Hi there

I couldn't find anything similar to this so hopefully I'm not repeaing a topic.

Here is my problem...

Got the Drifta today and installed the app on my iPad. Got everything activated with DSTV and checked out the website to ensure I'm in a coverage area, which I am and my friends have used their drift a decoders where i live soi know it does work.

Yet whenever I put the drift a on, all i get is the orange coverage indicator which means i have no signal. Am i doing something wrong??? I live in Cenrury City, Cape Town area.

The first time took quite a while for mine. I had to go stand in the driveway in order for it to "find" signal.
Since that time, however, it's found it in my house in under a minute every time.
