DSTV Drifta Issues on iOS7/8

Just wanted to know if anyone is having issues with their WiFi Drifta on devices running iOS 7/8?

I use my old iPad 1 running iOS5 & the Drifta & App runs well.

Early in the yr I tried to use the Drifta on my iPhone 5 running iOS7 & the signal would "not take" ie no indication of the Drifta talking to the iPhone.

Tried yesterday on an iPad 3 running iOS8 & same issue.

WiFi on both devices work fine & Drifta runs fine on older iPad.

Goggling did not help; just wanted to know of any issues before I call those useless guys at MC.

I'm also battling on iOS 8 devices, keeps on wanting to rescan channels.

I've just figured out if you toggle both the use cellular/3G and remote toggles the no channels available and channel scan issues disappear.
