DSTV Drifta

Ive seen some pics posted on forum with fullscreen on tv.
Anyone have some better resolution pics?
Would like to have an idea of what it would look like on my 50" sammy.

Not good - I've tried it on my 50" Sammy.
It looks ok on my 32'

@fxitman - i have the file, thank you, but the format is unfamiliar to me, as in its a .IPA file, what is that?
Thanks,

Oh my mistake, i assumed you guys were referring to the iPhone version which doesn't work on jailbroken iPhones as they also updated the app + firmware for that.

Thanks - so not worth it

Viewing distance is about 3m. lexor how does it look from that distance?
Can you see scores/text? An are the pics heavily pixelated?

I've tried it once for a short period on the Sammy.I watched from about 3.5 m away.
All I remember was that it looked bad - if I have time I'll try again and post a pic or 2.

Is it possible to connect the Drifta to the Telly via an iPad 2 using the HDMI connector?

I bought a Drifta today and signal is stuck at zero. The coverage map shows I am covered but no signal. I did get signal once and then the EPG showed but no picture came through due to signal being too weak :(

Try with a bunny aerial

@Fox1 - I have a mate with the same problem - tried the ext tv aerial trick and no luck there either.

I plan to hook it up to my laptop and take a drive around town to id the weak signals and will report back.

@ Fox1 - I also had this when I got mine. I had to go outside onto the house roof (flat roof here) for the unit to pick up a signal - one it had done that for the first time, no problems in the house...

Thanks for the replies guys. I did lock onto a signal up my road but when I got back home I was only able to view the EPG. The bunny ears and amplified set-top aerial trick never worked.

Will try and hookup the outside aerial somehow today. That's the only aerial in the house that picks up good TV signal.

My roof is far too high. Unless I try the long stick approach with Drifta attached ;)

For me only the outside earial worked, the bunny ears and everything else did not want to work. Now my signal is 100%.
