DSTV Drifta

Dstv released an app for honeycomb. Check it out on the market. But it won't work on rooted devices.

Anyone able to fix that?

I installed it as is on my tab, but it returned "unsupported device" when it tried to authenticate. I think it have something to do with fact that I have 3.2 on it.

Can anyone with 3.1 on, please try it.

Tested on my Galaxy 10.1 with honeycomb 3.1 and its working like a champion! even better quality and bigger display than my laptop!! ima real happy (hillbilly accent)

Yes unfortunately still has the jb check.

I got it patched by a guy who helped to patch the previous version, but although it gets around the initial jb check, it can't connect and display video.



It does upgrade the decoder firmware as well, and I was lucky as hell to downgrade back to the previous patched version of the app and have everything working again. *phew*
