Full Screen on v1.3.1

Dear Fellow Drifta's...

I am new to the DSTV Drifta. I have downloaded the latest version of the application (v1.3.1) and read on this and other forums that this version updates the firmware as well.

I am looking for a crack or an appplication that will allow me to use the application in full screen mode.

Please advise / assist.

I don't understand requests like this. Please go read this, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVB-H . In a nutshell, the DVB-H signal is broadcast in 320x240 as its designed to do. The DSTV allows you to double up that size... but you will already notice a drop in quality. Going fullscreen is going to mean it's barely watchable.

If this upsets you, perhaps you should have done your research before buying the product.

Jeez, go easy on the guy. Go check the various Drifta threads - a lot of us want the functionality despite it looking crap.

bhavenparsotam, I'm using Windows Magnifier to enlarge the image. It's a bit of pain but works!

again, soz for cross posting, but there seems to many threads have opened up already for Android Drifta...

ok, so the app works fine, but ive got the mhl hdmi connector, which basically relays whatever is on the phone to a hdmi tv / monitor...
thing is, i tried the app with the mhl connector and it tunes me "Accessory Error, An unsupported accessory has been attached to this device. Please disconnect the accessorry and try again"

Now obviously this is to defeat the viewing restrictions and relay the viewing on a nice 42" LED tv , anyone know how thing can be done ;) :) ;)

320x240 on a 42", You must seriously hate yourself?

Naa man, when using the MHL connector, it relays the SGS2 fullscreen...
doesnt matter if its a video / phone menu or game, it relays fullscreen

The DVB-H broadcast is still in 320x240.... That you can never change!
The more you expand the picture the worse the quality becomes...

I watch the Drifta on a 42". My couch is about 1 - 1.5 metres from the tv. It really isn't as terrible as you might think. It's only fine text that's pretty much impossible to read.

Interesting. I thought the picture looks awful on an iPad screen.

I guess quality is different for different people. I'd be willing to bet a lot of the users who are happy with a pixilated full screen picture are the same users who are happy watching a movie that's been recorded in a cinema with a camcorder.
