DSTV Dual View

I want to install dual view in my place. Anybody know the cost and procedure involved?

I have a standard decoder. I was told there is some installation that needs to be done. Anybody got any prices?

You can't get Dual View decoders anymore..

You will need to get either an HDPVR + 1110 or an SD PVR. and then installation prices can vary.

Cheapest option using the new hardware would be 2 1110 decoders at R400 each. A dual LNB another 5-600, not sure. Btw, it's now called Xtraview.

I dont want a HDPVR. I have a DVD Recorder, so i dont need a PVR. All i want is to be able to watch different channels on different tv's.

Yeah - XtraView seems like the best bet. It's one subscription plus R55 so the cost (apart from the hardware) is the same as a dualview.

How much are they? R600, around there? Anybody know.

1110's are R399 each.

And you'll need a dual LNB on your dish itself which is another R600 odd.. and then there is the extra cabling to the 2nd decoder.

So who can we call to have XtraView done & @ what cost. I'm also looking to getting this done and have them sort out my crappy signal @ the same time.
