DSTV Exclusive Offers

This question is aimed at DSTV subscribers.

In respect of the inserts DSTV place on their channels advertising Exclusive Offers (& in the Dish magazine), I'm interested to know whether any of you on MyBB have taken them up on these offers, or if you know of anyone who has ?

Perhaps the easiest way to answer, is in the form of a survey :

1. Yes ;
2. No ;
3. Have seen these offers advertised, but wouldn't bother ;
4. Have seen these offers advertised, and have been interested enough in 1 or more to seriously consider purchasing it / them ;
5. Have seen these offers advertised, and they've completely passed me by ... .

If you have any comments, feel free to add them after selecting a number, from above.

Please note: I don't have any affiliation to DSTV, other than being a subscriber, myself, so this is not a marketing exercise on their behalf - just thought of this last night, when I saw their latest offers advertised on one of the channels.
 
Your answers 2, 3, and 5 all apply to me. It's frustrating enough being a 'viewing' customer of MCA, without favouring them with more of my business!

And the Dish mag goes in the bin as soon as I receive it .. it seldom bears any resemblance to what is actually broadcast anyway.
 
Used some of them to go on the MSC Sinfona I think. They just ask for your MC Customer number.
 
They are 'exclusive' only because they are likely to stuff up the process of delivering any offer taken up by a gullible subscriber, just as they stuffed up with the performance (or lack thereof) of their Pace HDPVR

I'm not sure if they're 'that exclusive', but that's what they term them.
They tend to broadcast these inserts when overseas channels go for breaks (BBC World News for e.g.), or on National Geographic, Zone Reality etc. You'll just have to keep a lookout for them, but your answer would probably have to be no. 6 (which wasn't included) - ''have been watching DSTV, but haven't even noticed them!''
 
I look at the Dish once ... thats when it arrives in my post box ... and not once in my 5 years of having DStv have I ever used one of their special subscriber offers.

Yip - never noticed them....always fast forward ads, or keep myself entertained with something else when they're on.
