I want to get the Explora 2.

Is it a simple "plug and play" if I currently have the standard Single View HD installation.

In other words, I don't have the Smart LNB or any multi switch.

no you will need a new LNB - but it's easy to swap the LNB just make sure to place the NEw smart LNB in exactly the same position as the old one.

I'm 99% sure it does but you'd be astounded by how hard it is to confirm this. Google had no legible pics of the rear panel, MC's quick guide inexplicably doesn't have any pics of the rear panel.
