What size HDD would the below have?

I haven't had DSTV so I'm unsure if they're like Playsyations with multiple HDD size. Online seems to indicate x amount hours recording. IMG_20190523_214101.jpeg

The first was a 2TB, second and third are 1TB.

Think so. I've got one and the second one and they do look similar.

Yup, that's the original. When I canned DSTV, I broke mine open for the HDD

Normal Seagate Video 2 Tb. Mine broke, so I got a second hand Explora and swopped HDD.
Worked like a charm. Actually cheapest way to get 2 Tb hdd.

I really hope that everybody who burned there decoders took out the hard drives first .

Yeah, lots of people don't know about it. Then they end up giving away.

Took mine out of my HD PVR since I havent used it for a good 3 years or so. Bought an HD enclosure and then hooked up to my xbox. It was only a 500Gb but better than nothing.

So glad I found this threat here. Just yesterday a DStv technician told me they can give me a discount on a refurbished explorer because mine has a HDD problem. I have a 1TB unused HDD at home I’m going to swap them around or buy a used Explorer it’s probably cheaper than replacing this one.

You can't swap the hard drive.
