What is this? The first was a 2TB, second and third are 1TB.
Thanks!Think so. I've got one and the second one and they do look similar.
Jip that's the 1st model. 2&3 is smaller in size and the Model number on the front also indicates that it's 2 or 3.What is this?
1st?
That's what I'm thinking of doing.Yup, that's the original. When I canned DSTV, I broke mine open for the HDD
Sorry, but, I honestly cannot even remember the brand. That's what I'm thinking of doing.
I guess they use really shitty slow drives though?
No stress.Sorry, but, I honestly cannot even remember the brand.
I really hope that everybody who burned there decoders took out the hard drives first .
no stress broSorry, but, I honestly cannot even remember the brand.
You can't swap the hard drive. So glad I found this threat here. Just yesterday a DStv technician told me they can give me a discount on a refurbished explorer because mine has a HDD problem. I have a 1TB unused HDD at home I’m going to swap them around or buy a used Explorer it’s probably cheaper than replacing this one.
They've got DRM so the hard drive swap won't work.Eh? It cannot be done?
