DSTV Explora question

I beg my forgiveness if this has been asked before, but the search function is letting me down.

I currently have a HD PVR with dual LNB. Do I need to upgrade my dish and LNB to quad LNB if I get a Explora decoder. We dont use extra view, only 1 TV in the house.

Hmmm, I see you dont get that splitter thing anymore, as DSTV now uses smart LNB. So I will have to get that and a 80cm dish.

I'm in the same boat as the OP.

I connect 2 x cables to my 2P hd PVR.
Must i just slot one into the unicable slot into the Explora?

I have extraview- how to connect that?

No, you connect both cables to the multiswitch and then connect the unicable between the mutliswitch and the decoder.

Either a DStv unicable switch, or a Smart LNB... Without one of those 2, the Explora is a very expensive paper weight.
