Was thinking of getting an explorer we started watching more TV recently could really benefit us I thought anyway called up dstv today guy on the phone said there's now an explorer 2 and 3 I was aware of the 2 as I know someone with it however 3? I asked he said it just came out couldn't find any reviews on it but the guy on the phone said this black Friday I should be able to get it at R699 from takealot or any multichoice store excited I could cash out on this deal I thanked him and then hung up I forget to ask ask him about what the explorer 3 does the only other mention of this product I have managed to find was on the makro website https://www.makro.co.za/electronics-and-gaming/dstv-/br-explora-3-decoder-369525EA does anyone have one or know if there are any differences between the 2 and 3?

I got a Dstv explorer from sister and she did not use it for some time, when i turned it on it asked to be updated so i said yes and left it on when I came back it was off and only showed an ! on the panel, from there on it never turned on again can any one help me
