I have a 100mbps OpenServe fibre line with Cool Ideas.

I’ve noted that HD Catch Up downloads are slow and tested on several ISPs. Between 4mbps - 8mbps max for a HD download of around 1.8GB. It buffers and I have to pause for the download to catch up.

My explorer is connected via cable to the router. The explorer speedtest show 16mbps on a 100mbps link.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Mine is also slow compared to fibre speed. There is a post on the DSTV forum somewhere where it was pointed out that it was slow because of strange links in the route to the server.

I have exactly the same problem. Is there a solution.
Why does it not affect all users
