Hi all please assist.
We stay in a 5 bedroom house, the majority of rooms (4 out of rooms has a TV, which is connected to DStv, and a roof aerial. One of the rooms has a DSD 1131 decoder, as does the Lounge also 1131, this is via Extraview. However the decoder in the room gives an error "waiting communication from primary decoder", The primary in the lounge is set to transmit HB from RF in, whereas the room is set to transmit from RF out, it is set that way, so the entire house can view both decoders, as well as SABC/E-tv from the roof aerial if they want to. TV in the lounge also has a digital tuner, so I get an excellent picture from the aerial there for free to air. I have recently reset everything up, when I recently mounted the Lounge TV on the wall. RF out on the decoder in the lounge goes into a TAP splitter, and from there is split, the tap output going to the RF in on the lounge TV, and the "out" output where minimal latency is lost by on the TAP filter feeds into another splitter in the roof which in turn feeds the rooms. The RF in on the decoder in the lounge has a T-joint in the roof, which I've connected the roof antenna, to, and RF out line from the decoder in the bedroom, this first runs into a satlink booster then into the decoder, this boots the signal before feeling the rooms. So as I was saying, in the lounge all channels are essentially perfect both digital and analogue, in the one room is fuzzy on SABC, and ,both decoders are clear in the rooms, except for Extraview not working, I wonder if there's not a signal being transmitted from Constantiaberg (transmitter antenna is pointed at), or even Tygerberg, which is overpowering the Extraview signal
