DSTV flashing orange light

Heh Peeps,

For the last 2 weeks i've had an orange light blinking on the far left of the DSTV Decoder Display Panel, this is accompanied by a envelope that appears on the top right of the tele screen, any idea what this is?

You have a message (probably an alert to a software update)
Use your remote control, press the menu button and look for mail/messages (not sure of the exact wording) then read the messages and delete them.
Light and envelope will disappear.

I think it means that there is a message waiting for you. Said message probably says that there is a software upgrade available for certain models of DSD.

IIRC you get to the messages via one of the menus.

Press Menu -> 4 Messages -> Read Message -> Delete Message

Press Menu -> 7 Advanced Options -> 7 DSD Upgrade

Had a similar problem after a power failure, but the red, amber and green lights were all flashing and the message on the TV stated that there was no signal from the source.
It turns out the power supply (black box that connects the decoder to the wall socket) was damaged. I simply bought a new one at a dealer and all worked perfectly well afterwards.
