SABC employees have themselves discovered alleged spending splurges within the company and are furious about them.

These include: Petrol cards on which R18m is owed, thousands of rands worth of T-shirts for an ANC conference, security at private homes, DStv for the SABC's top management and R3.8m to print the internal newsletter.

The bloody cheek ! To think all that money could have gone to providing better TV... instead they use it for DSTV for themselves !!!!
 
LOL... so even the SABC top management don't watch their own crap? FAIL!!!
 
I suppose they have every right to watch DSTV... its the fact that they got the SABC to pay for it that grates me !
 
its just beyond laughable.... until you realise where the money is going to come from to save their useless asses......
 
DSTV probably paid SABS to put on such crap. DSTV is all repeats and adverts for themselves. Bring in Internet TV, download what you want to watch, only pay for what you use. Please Lord...can, we, can we ?

The whole country deserves good television.
Oh wait ... you're saying spend the 2.5 billion on free internet and PC's for all.
