Hi All,

I need your assistance with figuring out how to install this eye and make it functional for the HD decoder.

Apparently, b'cos the decoder does not have an RFout connector, the eye is not possible???

Yup.. the eye works over the RF signal on the cable to allow you to use the remote.. the alternative is using an IR blaster.. I have never used one, so I am not sure what things to look for when getting and using an IR blaster..

Yep, the blaster should work but how do i get dstv on another TV?
that's the reason for the 'eye'.
dstv currently connected to mom's TV in the lounge but she would like to watch dstv at night from her bedroom, still having the facility to use the remote from her bedroom...?

My mom spoke to a technician/installer and he recommended using a modulator?

I know this is a Heath Robinson solution, but if the bedroom and lounge are reasonably close together, maybe a mirror in the hallway? To reflect the IR signal......
