Hi all

Any idea what this error is?

The TV it's connected to isn't showing DSTV. But other TVs work fine, one directly connected to the decoder/channel and another using dual view and its own SD decoder connected to the 2P.

The description of your setup makes absolutely no sense at all.

The only dual view decoders around are the original dual view which is not XV capable so then if you have 2 other viewing environments then the other decoder must be a SD PVR which had view 2 capability (dual view). But then the SD PVR cannot be the Primary decoder .....?

The 2P looks as if went through a reboot cycle which has failed before completion, hence it could be faulty.

Switch off the decoder and try and reboot it again. If this fails again, take the decoder to MC so that they can check it out.

Sorry, I meant XtraView.

I also suspect that the decoder is faulty, but was worried other AV equipment might be faulty. Explora is arriving soon.

Strange how DSTV works on the other TVs.

Not strange at all IF the other decoder is the Primary decoder and the other TVs are actually getting their content from that decoder ....

So it would be a big help if you could provide the model number and name of the other decoder and describe your setup a bit better.

The 2P would reflect the channel number tuned to on the FP if it was working.

The HD PVR is primary, and its feed to the main TV (1) where it is installed, is split to another TV (2) which watches the same channel and can change channels via an 'eye'.

Another decoder, DSD 1131 SD, then handles XtraView for a 3rd TV (3) to watch its own channels.

TV 1 does not work, while TVs 2 & 3 work.
