DSTV installation doesn't seem right - can someone shed some light?

We got a guy to move the TV from one room to another, it's a HD decoder. I took a look, and it seems like we are getting HD in the new location, but looking at the points in the HD Decoder at the back...it doesn't seem right. One cable connected to Sat 1 In, and the other to RF Out. When I had a chat with a agent at DSTV a while back about an issue we had, they asked me to check these points and said at least Sat 1 In and Sat 2 In need to be connected to get HD.

So does this sound right, will it broadcast HD? Only have the 2 connections as above (Sat 1 In and RF Out) and I'm very confused now... :confused:
 
I really have no idea. For the parts it says "RF Cables" and "Plugs and connectors". It's a free standing house. If he did put in the right hardware, having only a Sat 1 In and RF Out connected - is this enough for HD? I have heard you need minimum Sat 1 In and Sat 2 In connected - even with all the right hardware...so wanted to check. :confused:
 
With a SatCR LNB it could work with only Sat 1 connected... Can you record Sky News while viewing BBC Entertainment? If you can, stop worrying...
