Can anyone recommend someone to replace an LNB, and fix up my DSTV cabling, in Claremont, Cape Town.

I've had terrible experience with installers in the past !!

Hmm, I have a talent for destroying things.
So where wold I buy a new LNB and Cables, is Ellies an option ?

Whats your setup? How many decoders? HD?
I have an explora HD , but only getting signal from 1 of the 2 lnb cables,
so will need to replace the lnb and cables i think.

also have an old 4 channel HD, which i'de like to resurrect on xtraview, not sure if that will affect what kind lnb i need

You will need a smart LNB.

I suggest you buy all the hardware and cables so he/she only charges for labour.

Check list:

1x Smart LNB R450-500 I think
X amount of RG6/u cable

F-type connectors 2 per TV

TV eye links 1 per how ever many TV's that are going to have control.

1 Switch (not sure what type or model)

How many TV's are you wanting to have dedicated channels?
