Hi,

I live in a complex that means I just have a single LNB to work with.
I connect the single LNB to 2 x 6 multiswitch for my HD PVR 2P and extraview with 1110 setup.

works like a charm... until it storms!
i've had to replace it 4 times now... its currently sitting popped after last weeks storm. before I buy another one, can some1 please help advise me of my options?
i figure its lightning.. but yea wat to do? any advise?

Thanks,
pboy.

You get inline surge protectors, that you can install between the wall outlet and the switch. Contact the Space Television closest to you...

i'm tossing the 2 x 6 multiswitch for a std 2 way splitter with single LNB setup (as advised on another pst here somewhere).
dont really need the extra view, supposed i cud dig out the old remote eye and just run a rf out to the tv in my bedroom instead!

just saw those surge protectors...
now methinks i ned em at almost every plug point in the house actually!

The surge protector I'm talking about goes inline on the RG6 coax cable... I'm not talking about the ones for the power sockets, though they are also good to have.
