Then you'll need one of the new smart lmx based LNBs.. maybe just also check that the existing one isn't suitable already and that the cable hasn't been connected to a universal port.. the explora needs to be connected to one of the 'smart' ports..I think this is it. Previous owner had the standalone decoder and I have Explora 3.

The tiny SS antenna replaced with a bigger SS antenna? What will the size difference be?Thanks everyone, the gent did the LNB and will be replacing the tiny stainless dish for a new one early next week. We're back on.
You are right there. The bigger the antenna the better those crappy Exploras work. 90cm is the minimum size.90cm dish is recommended for HD broadcasts. I have 60. It'll work but I aint taking chances that it goes down when watching F1 lol.
