I am so sick and tired of this ripp off service. Everyone is going on about how awesome DSTV's new website is, it sucks and its broken.

How the f*** is one supposed to log in and pay your account.

When you log into the new website for the first time, it picks your profile up, then tells you to complete 2 steps, first enter some personal info (which you already have for the millionth time), then on step 2 you enter your smartcard number for the on demand linking (which was always linked on the previous website along with the bouqet, somehow it looks like you forgot this), you have no option to say "skip because I'm not a premium subscriber", so I enter my smartcard details and click link hoping it will continue, obviously it fails giving me the above error that I am not a premium subscriber, so how do I continue!!!!!!!!!!! I already knew that!!

And below that you link your adsl username and password to the smart card number account, as stated I am not a premium subscriber, I do not have uncapped and I certainly as hell am not going to provide you with my ADSL details, so how the f*** does one complete the second step and just log in to check your balance and to pay your account, I usually paid my account via the credit card option. There is no option to say "I am not interested in your crap, on demand, uncapped adsl blah blah crap blah".

So MultiChoice is now effectively failing to provide me with standard service. Does no one test their crap systems before they go live?! Until their website is up and running, they can expect no payments from me and I will take this matter further with legal action. My account is up to date yet it is mysteriously disconnected the whole time because of unknown system errors, I am so sick of this crap service.

Do any of you guys experience the same problem getting onto their new site? And do you have any workarounds? Apologies for the language.

Just a note, I heard today on the radio that DSTV made headlines with their profits for the period ending september 2010 I think, its good to know, increase your service premiums at an absurd rate with your monopoly, while robbing your clients, then sit and smile all the while acting so innocent, its clear if "profits" were that much, then the excuse to support the higher premiums of "expenditures are becoming more and the service gets pricier to support" fails.

Nice Poem, i didn't experience any of that cause Im a Premium Subscriber :D

Well i did have the problem with their website when it was 1st launched, and the problems i encountered was that i couldn't access the new website, using Chrome, Opera, Firefox but i read the issue has been sorted out. but as for registration everything was smooth.

I think MC resolution to the matter would be for them, to create and website for people who are non-Premium Subscriber like their Dish Magazine.

I had two premium subscriptions, moved down because I was tired of being taken for a ripoff ride.

Enjoy the ride:D
