We currently have an old barely working dstv decoder at home, i'm pretty sure the dish is as old and has as few LNB's as possible.
I am moving into the cottage which is about 25m away from the current decoder which is a further 20m away from the dish. (so the cottage is 45m away from the dish)
I want to be able to watch my own channel in the cottage while the family have their own.
What sort of setup would allow this? What would i need to get started?
How much am I looking at for the hardware itself (assuming i will need a 2 channel PVR and preferably HD for the home connection) and how much would installation be (i am willing to DIY what is DIYable within reason)?
