Dstv now app not working

I did a factory reset of the dstv now app on my telkom lit tv box and now it won't work. It keeps saying to check my internet connection. (which is working just fine). What do i do to get it to work. This is driving me nuts.

Change the DNS settings on the LIT box to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8
