DSTV Now Catchup quality

Can anyone advise if there's a way in which to improve the quality from my side, on DSTV Now catchup? I'm running my catchup through a Windows 8 notebook PC, hard-wired network and network speeds are decent. To compare, I watch Netflix and Amazon Prime video at UHD/4K quality through the same PC, linked to the same network, through a hub. I'm of the opinion the DSTV server is slow, or is it my PC that causes the slow/pixelated/buffering catchup? I watch DSTV Now live TV on the same PC/TV setup and that's great quality (not HD, but acceptable)

On my end Live TV on DSTV Now works great but surprisingly Catchup buffers and at times even fails to play unless I reduce quality
