DSTV Now Live channels not working on Android TV Box

Hi All
Anybody else have a problem with DSTV Now Live TV Channels not working at all?
I can watch "recently viewed" channels and and everything on Catch up...but I get a 403 error when trying to view live channels.

Its been 2.5 weeks now. I have logged into live chat several times and they keep telling me they've reset it - I must log out, restart, log in again etc but still not joy.
In the last chat, they said they would escalate to Technical team and I should wait 72 hrs - its now a full week later & it still isn't working and nobody from technical has contacted me.

Anyone else with this problem or some guidance please?

Its a T95Q Android Tv box
one suggestion i received was to uninstall the DSTV app and reinstall - but when I bought this device it was pre-installed and came with a warning to never upgrade versions as it wont work

Well it's not working now so you have nothing to lose.

Next time buy a Ematic/LIT box then you don't have to sit with issues like this.

I will do this but only a last resort ...was hoping i'm not the only one this issue and perhaps someone has figured out a solution.
I just find it really weird that recently viewed channels work but none of the others do.

Use the Kodi addon.
Your device doesn't pass Safetynet so the latest DSTV Now app won't work anymore.

My parents have the EnmaticTV box and have the same issue.

No idea what to do.

Reset the box to factory default and start over and do not update. Otherwise roll back the version

Neighbour has a cheapie Android box which exhibited same symptoms

By approaching the channel numbers in a different way using a mouse with a wheel, she was able to scroll down to the channel she wanted to watch

I can ask her for the exact model if you need it

If it is not a registered Google device like the Xiaomi Mi box or Telkom Lit box - the DSTV app was probably side loaded (hence why they warned you not to update it) I had such a device and got rid of it and replaced it with the Xiaomi Mi box! Will never use anything else again.

Get the App again and look for a older version.
