DSTV Now on AppleTV issues?

Seeking confirmation to 2 (annoying) issues on the app:

1. Getting stuck when viewing the show details for the current channel or a next show on a channel you are not watching! Only “fix” is to kill the app and restart. (Happens when you pull up the dark banner with show detail text in it - not the carousel view)

2. Shows jumping back in time periodically. Whilst I am used to sound delays creeping in, it seems a new problem to jump backwards in the show by a couple of minutes! Changing channels and going back restores it but does not stop it happening.

Am I alone with these and any idea if they are known issues (being worked on)?

Ps: app version is 1.13.3 (20 Jan 2021)

Definitely noticed the jump back issue. Was watching cricket the other day and was so confused watching a batsman get out and then reappear at the crease.

Actually, trying to think, but the issues may have come up around the release of the latest version. It didn’t really register too much because I've been able to click through and find the sports channels, but it's def full of bugs.

The “Programme details” issue came in in the prior release - I had hoped the Jan release would fix but since it did not, I wondered if it was known etc.

as for the skipping back on time, that seems to be “new” (suspect in the latest release) unless it’s server side and affecting other platforms besides AppleTV?

Maybe the increase in subscription fees will get some budget allocated to bug testing & fixing.... does not appear that there is much QA going on.
