dstv online guide only shows 24 hours

we used to see information on programmes until the end of the month. recently the online guide shows the title of future programmes but only gives additional information for the following 24 hours. does anyone know the true reason for this - is it the new software or must i take my decoder in to be exchanged. thanks

This is a perennial problem with DSTV. They want to control the guide by using proprietary software and not to have it published, which in turn creates problems.

frustrating!

wouldn't it be nice if the staff were trained to tell us what's going on. i spent 45 minutes on the phone to the dstv call centre last night - after rebooting and removing the smartcard several times the only thing they could tell me was "it's the same this side so it must be correct". it's incredibly frustrating not knowing which episodes are being aired of the 2/3 hour long programmes they persist in serialising.
