DSTV online streaming: Desktop player not working

Anyone using the "DSTV Desktop player BETA" to download and stream VOD?

I've installed it twice (on win 7 and win xp machines) in the past week. The installation completes successfully, but when I run the application I only get a blank/black window. I've met all the installation requirements, installed Silverlight etc...

Anyone else with this problem?

PS. DSTV's forum is useless - I can't even get registered.

FYI, I downloaded the latest v5 silverlight directly from microsoft instead of the v4 which I got via the dstv site - this got rid of the blank window problem.

Can a compact subscriber be able to watch?

No, it's a value added service for Premium subscribers only. Though I believe anyone can now use the Boxoffice website to watch new movies.

I already paid for the movie, and had the same problem, and watching online the movie is too small, so I ended up downloading a copy...
