DSTV Packages

I guess this topic has been discussed already, but ja...
I had a look at all the different packages for DSTV, and it is all a bunch of crap, to say the least.
Why isn't there a option where the user can choose, lets make it, 10 channels of their own?
Most likely everyone will then go for that option, because most channels on DSTV is crap anyway...

Lets make this interesting, which 10 channels will you chose?

SS1
SS2
SS5
SS6
SS7 - Just because there are sometimes something on those channels (like F1, and I don't watch
soccer anymore)

Ye this is total nonsense. Methinks that they will probably create a few low end packages to combat the ODM threat but do squat for us who would prefer a select and pay option.

Yeah mine would be minus all the constant sports channels, as if there are any big games it is broadcast on Mnet and MNet HD anyway. I'd go for about 20 or so channels

if they allowed everyone to choose they wouldnt be able to post nice profits. consumer choice is virtually non existent in SA
