I tried my luck.

They can add a package till your next billing cycle. Mine is on the 24th, so im only going to pay for 3 days, but i have to downgrade the 23rd

You can upgrade anytime during the month, but must downgrade, if you want to, on or the day before your billing date.

If you have a debit order cancel it before upgrading. Their billing system is a piece of POS.

they didn't cancel my downgrade when it was scheduled and they ****ing billed me for the full package the next month.

or just load a stop payment on your account for that debit order.

I pay at Spar every month, so think in safe. but will cancel on Monday morning.

Hopefully i dont have any issues

Please let us know which bank successfully implements stop payments that are permanent fixes ....

The title is very misleading. When I read it, I thought Multichoice has now announced an open weekend where those not on the premium package could watch all channels for free this weekend. :erm:

Just an update. everything went according to plan

Downgraded the tuesday, no extra payments ect.

So DSTV calculate the amount of days till your next billing cycle, wouldve been awesome if you could take it weekends only.
