I've been contacted by them and they can offer me a R30 sub on my R874 bill for 2 years. Effectively paying R844 for the next 2 years. Anyone got the same offer?

R720.00 saving over the 24 months but the lockdown with them for that timeframe is it worth it?

Yes if he wants to stay with them and use them. Also you're not taking into account the price increases every year.
A good contract shouldn't be shunned at if it's in your best interests.

I was in a price lock previously with the Explora 1. No regrets.
I'll most probably go for their new offer.
