I have been paying annually since 1996. So this year I paid the full amount in Feb. Then I get a statement showing that I have been changed to a monthly customer and the balance is shown as a credit. In other words I will be liable for the April increase
No amount of arguing would get them to change it back to annual. It is either a debit order or pay monthly. I issued a strong complaint on the DSTV forum and a week later some lady calls me, all smarmy "why did you tell us to change". I repeat that I did not, she says she has a recording of the phone call. I ask her the number this call was made from, it is someone with a 039- prefix number (Port Shepstone), but I live in Cape Town. Nonetheless she maintains it is me. I got really annoyed with her and suggested that she was either covering for someone who had made a mistake or was mentally challenged.
The only way is to cancel my current DSTV subs and take out a new contract!!!! This happens on 15th March. What a palava. I have been promised a pro-rata refund

I was a debit order customer since 1996.
I recently decided to cancel the debit order and pay manually using my credit card.
Reason: I might as well get some rewards via via credit card and also let them pay a portion back to the credit card company.

yeah also contemplating killing my subscription for the price. we only use it for sport ....anyone know if showmax or Netflix might be getting sport content .... only really need it for
