I picked up the original HD PVR (watch one, record two) for R1000 on JunkMail a couple of months ago.

But it's not in HD. So they're not HD channels. Unless you're using component cables to carry the HD single?

AFAIK dstv requires HDCP for the HD channels.

if something goes wrong i take it multichoice right. repairs and hifi make me nervous.

Upgraded to Premium for the weekend and I'm very much able to view the HD channels on my SD tv. The colours are brighter than the normal SD channels but the picture is a bit blurry.
